Happy Holiday Season!

It's almost December and I figured now is as good a time as any to come on and say hi! I hope you had the best Thanksgiving filled with family and/or friends, cozy time, and good food!
I've been struggling to balance my job, my business, my travels, my loved ones, and my imagination. I have so many dreams and aspirations, but it seems not quite enough energy and time to get it all done! I think I've already decided my focus for 2024 is going to be balance. I think if I can do that, I might be able to achieve a calmer and perhaps less overwhelming lifestyle-- we'll see how that goes!
Anyway, this year feels like it's gone by in a blur. I think I say that every year, but somehow this year feels blur--rrier. Like it was just June, right? I know this time of year can get even busier than the rest of the year leading up to it, but I want to take a moment to slow down and take in the gratitude that I feel.  Everyday on instagram stories for I don't actually remember how long I've been sharing something I'm grateful for and asking the same in return. Sometimes I get the loveliest responses back. Not always and I wouldn't even say usually, but sometimes people respond and when they do it really makes my heart sing. There is so much to be grateful for and each day is a day to celebrate those blessings. My sweet sister. My supportive mother. My grandparents (one in my heart and one doing his best). These are my greatest blessings. But there are other things too. You know, the comforts I take for granted everyday. Like clean water- and essentially an endless supply of it. Access to food, heat (or A/C), clothes, shelter. And then on another level- my dog and her vet and her groomer. My friends and having people to relate to and talk to. Books! Art! Creativity! Laughter. When someone smiles and their entire face lights up and you can see the joy radiating from their eyes. Kindness. And the list goes on!  Tell me, what are you grateful for today?
